Overview
Sometimes what is needed is not a mould or a machine but the technical judgement to make the right decision. We provide independent engineering support for stalled projects, recurring quality problems and pre-investment technical review.
The most frequent request is root cause analysis of a recurring defect in series production. Warpage, flash, sink marks or dimensional drift may originate in the tool, the process parameters or the raw material; which of these it is gets separated out systematically.
A second area is pre-investment technical review: checking the specification of a mould or machine to be purchased, comparing quotations on technical grounds and surfacing hidden costs.
Consulting is not left as a verbal opinion; findings and recommendations are delivered as a written report so the decision process is documented.
